Festival of the Force 2026 was held at Newark Showground on 31st January, and it was one of those events that makes you realise how special it is when pure Star Wars descends on a place. This was my first time attending and it was clear simply joining that queue that it was going to be one for the purists!

Comic Con Liverpool is a standout pop-culture weekend in the diary, but Monopoly Events’ flagship convention in 2025 felt like something special for Star Wars fans. Star Wars Celebration Japan is fast approaching! One of the biggest draws for fans that gets me hyped is the chance to meet our favourite actors through photo opportunities and autographs. Skeleton Crew felt like a beautiful breath of fresh air, and the positive reception has been energising after a period of discourse we'd all like to forget. There is something so poetic about the people of At Attin being insulated from the danger beyond, missing a civil war, surviving a raid by a bunch of pirates and grifters, and then gaining the strength to venture out thanks to the crew. I think they’ve given the fandom the energy to do the same.
